The congratulatory message was contained in a statement personally signed and issued by Arisekola to journalists.
While felicitating with Tinubu, he said, “I sincerely congratulate the National leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a resounding victory he recorded at the hotly contested party’s presidential primary election. Tinubu’s overwhelming victory was a testimony of his astute performance, acceptance, popularity and clout across the country.
“Without contradiction, this is a success premised on bravery and political influence and I deeply affirm that Tinubu has done well across the Niger and for sure he is the best President Nigeria can produce to proffer leadership driven with success.
“Tinubu is a symbol of unity and national cohesion, he is that genuine leader who can bring purpose driven development, growth, inclusion and very well thought out policies that can positively turn around the fortunes of Nigeria. He truly will raise the bar of governance.”
Arisekola added that the outcome of the exercise through which Tinubu emerged as candidate obviously tallied with the aspiration of the generality of the members of APC. He equally commended the leadership of the APC over the credible way the party’s presidential primary was conducted on Wednesday.
“This is a clarion call to all Nigerians irrespective of the zone they come from to vote massively for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 general election. This is not about party, it is about progress and prosperousness and thankfully, Asiwaju is the best man for the job, judging from his antecedents and accomplishments when he was Lagos State Governor.” Arisekola said.
