This is no ordinary appointment. It's a bold new chapter for a club on the move, and Okenla is the powerhouse poised to take it to soaring new heights.
The official installation is set for August 31st, 2025, and insiders say it’s going to be a night to remember glitz, inspiration, and serious fundraising magic.
With over 22 years of hands-on experience across banking, tech, and telecommunications, Okenla is no stranger to leadership or transformation. She’s worked at top institutions like UBA, Tech Mahindra, Airtel Nigeria, NIIT, and ipNX, where she led groundbreaking Customer Experience initiatives.
Today, she’s the General Manager, Customer Experience West Africa at MainOne (An Equinix Company), overseeing strategy across a massive footprint from enterprise to SMEs and international markets. And if that’s not enough, she’s also a renowned event management expert, known for planning show-stopping events for corporate and social bodies alike.
