The recent courtesy visit ahead of the sixth edition of BSMH, this year’s event, themed “Social Media and A.I Influence: Transforming Yourself, Services, and the Society,” continues the platform’s mission to promote responsible media use, digital literacy, and empowerment across Nigeria.
During the visit, the team expressed appreciation for the Governor’s support of media innovation and youth-focused initiatives. Bodex Hungbo commended his administration’s digital-forward policies and open civic engagement, positioning Lagos as a leader in digital governance.
Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated Lagos’s role as a hub of innovation and pledged continued support for initiatives that amplify voices and promote responsible digital engagement.
A key highlight was the presentation of a formal invitation to the Governor to serve as Keynote Speaker at the Grand Finale and receive the “Most Digital Media Friendly Governor of the Year” award. He was also officially conferred as Grand Patron of BSMH in recognition of his leadership in technology-driven governance.
