The milk of human kindness is a rare commodity in the circle of the rich and powerful. But not so with the First lady of Kogi State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Rashida Bello, in whose veins, sympathy flows like a river.

The youthful and charming wife of Kogi Governor, Yahaya Bello, has been putting smiles on the faces of the downtrodden in the confluence state since she ascended her exalted position. No sooner had she assumed office, than she launched the Kogi Women and Youth Advancement Foundation (KOWYAF) to equip women and youths with the expertise needed for self-reliance and getting them off the streets. The hitherto career accountant has also built primary health care centres in each of the three senatorial districts of the state, an apparent measure of her commitment to alleviating the health concerns of the populace. And just recently, Delectable Rashida Bello, who at 32 is one of the youngest First Ladies around, launched a new initiative, DROP, to reach the women and youths in the remote corners of the state. Her commitment to qualitative education also saw her recently taking wandering and helpless street children off the Lokoja-Jamata Bridge, and placing some of them in good schools to brighten their future, while some were given hope in apprenticeship vocations. The First Lady of Kogi State is a very pretty, selfless and amiable lady, who has a great passion for the development of the lives of the less-privileged, the marginalized and the physically-challenged members of the society. Though her humility distinguishes her in the midst of the crowd, it is becoming very obvious that the numero uno woman at Luggard House, is allergic to a society filled with disgruntled youths and disillusioned women. Thus, her pet project is to train those who have acquired skills on how to manage their businesses and maximize profits through improved through technical know-how. your social media marketing partner
