Candidates who participate in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board's 2022 mock Unified Tertiary and Matriculation Examination must pay a service charge of N1,000 to the CBT centers where they are assigned to sit for the examination. According to Punch, the board noted that it raised the service charges from N600 to N1,000 due to the high cost of diesel in the country. Due to the increase in the price of diesel in the country, JAMB promised to provide soft-landing for CBT centers. The board also reiterated that the mock examination is entirely optional.
