Pastor Ajavon Tasks Nigerians To Implore Prayers In Tackling Problems

The convener of the globally impactful interdenominational program tagged 'Prayer Fire', Pastor Amavi Ajavon, has urged Nigerians to seek the face of God in fervent prayers for solutions to the myriad of problems facing Nigeria at present.

He assured that when this is done God will restore the lost glory of the country. He also stated that at the root of victorious christian living is the fear of God urging believers to have God at the core of their lives, following him step by step through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Ajavon declared this at just concluded program held recently in Lagos.

The man of God, who is also the founder of God Seekers Kindred Ministry Worldwide, stressed that God has always answered prayers right from the existence of the mankind. And will never change in answering our prayers. " This is the secret of people of old. They prayed to God for everything and we're getting results. "This is the reason I started this interdenominational program. It is aimed at calling the present Church back to prayers", he said.

"We need to pray harder to do better in life. We should pray for everything that concerns us to effect changes. We should also pray for every wrong situations we found ourselves to correct them.Today, Christians have joined people to criticize the government on challenges Nigeria is passing through. This is not right, Christians are suppose to be praying for change in the country, as solutions to the the present economic crisis.

"The people in power needs prayers to govern well. The President and other officials needs to succeed in their work. The Bible asked us to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Christians always need to pray for the peace and progress of the nation. This is was secret of great people of old like Daniel, who always prayed to God for solution to any problem in Babylon. This is why he had a very successful stay in Babylon", the Togolese-born Pastor explained.

The 'Prayer Fire' program was impactful. With the theme "Portals 2", mparting many lives as the congregation massively testified of God's tremendous and transforming visitation. Pastor John Atomode who was a guest minister at PORTALS II urged believes to be sensitive to the leading of the Spirit. PORTALS, preceding the last program, also had Atomode along with another guest minister, Pastor Sunday Asibor who ministered on the pathway of the Spirit termed PORTALS where Divinity meets with Humanity.

There were divers manifestations of the spirit through the laying of hands, instructions and also testimonies, impartation and deliverances.

Music minister Rose Usman, testified of God's touch on her life during the service. Pastor Chris Okoye, of Christ Embassy, Egbeda, Lagos acknowledged that the program was a powerful event. He added that it is very important for Christians to gather to pray. "Prayers bring down divine solutions to all human challenges on earth.

"Believers need to be positive about the nation and believe that God can do it for the nation," he added The convener, who studied Mass Communication, also reiterated on the need to speak right on their lives and what they want to see in the nation and this comes from
their belief system and conviction.

The well attended program was held at the Loveworld hall, Egbeda, Lagos. It also had thousands of participants worldwide who joined the service online. It was graced by men and women of God, dignitaries from all works of life and believers from different denominations.

The program also witnessed a soul lifting music ministration by Minister Rose Usman. An inspiring and thought provoking drama presentation titled "Glorified but distracted" by God's Seekers Kindred Drama Ministry, also added to the flying colours of the service.
