The event, titled “The 2Baba Experience… May I Know You Again,” is scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
It is being organized by Yankee Entertainment and promises to be a gathering of top names from the entertainment industry, politics, business, and his fanbase.
2Baba’s musical journey began in the late 1990s with the formation of Plantashun Boiz alongside Blackface and Faze. The group achieved national fame before disbanding, paving the way for 2Baba’s groundbreaking solo career.
Hits like “African Queen,” “Only Me,” “For Instance,” and “One Love” cemented his status as a global Afrobeats pioneer, blending love ballads with socially conscious messages.
“From local stages in Enugu to global platforms, 2Baba’s story remains a source of inspiration to many African artistes,” said Mallam Yankee of Yankee Entertainment during a press conference.
The celebration also coincides with the birthday of his wife, Natasha, adding a deeper personal significance to the occasion. Known for his humility and love for family, 2Baba has often used his platform to advocate for good governance, youth empowerment, and social unity.
Despite personal challenges over the years, he remains one of Africa’s most respected music icons, consistently promoting values, peace, and cultural pride through his lyrics.
Mallam Yankee described the event’s theme as a symbolic reflection of 2Baba’s journey and his enduring connection with fans:
“It’s not just a celebration of a man, but a movement that helped redefine the sound and spirit of African entertainment.”
