Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu Saturday night received the prestigious Vanguard Personality of the Year Award. Other awardees in this category include Governor of Bornu State, Prof. Babagana Zulum and business icon Mr. Femi Otedola.

The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) - brainchild of Industrialist, philanthropist and founder of BUA Group, Abdul Samad Rabiu, and the Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq led Kwara State Government, jointly announced the construction of the largest oncology and diagnostic centre in West Africa to be built with a 2.5billion Naira ASR Africa Tertiary Health Systems Infrastructure initial grant which was recently awarded to Kwara state by ASR Africa from its annual $100 million Africa Fund for Social Development and Renewal.

The board of West African Youth Council (WAYC) has confirmed the appointed of Noah Ibrahim as its Youth Ambassador, for his numerous contribution to growth in society. WAYC was formed in 2014 as a regional youth organization to integrate youths for the overall socio-economic development of the Continent.
