In the spirit of the last Eid-el-Fitri celebrations, PR and Communication guru and social media influencer, Adebola Williams, was in his element when he played host to some Muslim faithful at his Lekki home in Lagos. Though born a Muslim, but now a Christian, by virtue of his conviction, but that did not stop him from doing good to the religion he left, because he believes it is the same God that everyone serves. Adebola Williams, a Lagos big boy and Group Chief Executive Officer of Red Africa, a top player in the advertising and brand management landscape, Adebola Williams, hosted his Muslim friends in the corporate and public sectors, to an Iftar, in his expansive Lagos home. Though, a Christian, Debola is renowned to have hosted many Muslims, like three African leaders, including President Buhari, at the Iftar for the past four consecutive years. Some faces at the event included Kabir Aregbesola, son of former Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State; Ayo Animasaun of Hip TV; Abdulrasheed Muri Okunola; Olatunji Adedipe of Shell Petroleum; Kola Kudus, a popular fashion designer, Femi Bakre and his comic content creator wife, Mariam; Strategy and Category Finance Manager, Friesland Campina WAMCO, Debola Idowu; Group Chief Finance Officer of Rainoil, Naheemah Adediran, Federal Inland Revenue Services big boy, Fuad Laguda, just to mention a few. Speaking on why he always identifies with his Muslim friends during Ramadan, Debola said, beyond religion, he sees himself first as a Nigerian and he sees his friends, whether Muslim or Christian as family members.
