Guinness Nigeria Plc, alongside football great, Thierry Henry, celebrated individuals Made of Black at its exclusive ‘Black Pass’ at an event which held at The Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, on December 18, 2017.
The ‘Black Pass’ event was especially put together to celebrate people that have achieved success in their fields of endeavor and are ‘Made of Black’; individuals who are exceptional, creative, bold, authentic, and inspiring. Made of Black reflects a movement being created by a new generation of Africans whose boldness cannot be contained and who are fuelling a progressive, new spirit of Africa. Guinness also embodies this mind set. It is an iconic beer that has the darkest liquid, but the brightest flavours. A beer that has lived in the hearts and minds of millions in Africa and across the world for over 250 years but has always had the authenticity, boldness and vision to do things differently. Guests at the event included Adesua Etomi, Banky W, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Captain Demuren, Toolz , Peter Rufai and other notable individuals. Guests enjoyed special performances by Godwin Strings, 2 face Idibia and Simi, who taught the football icon a few Yoruba words.
