There was pandemonium in Ibadan, Oyo State today, February 10, 2022, as robbers hijacked a bullion van killing two police officers who were part of the security team.

Reacting to the incident, the police commissioner of police, Oyo State, Ngozi Onadeko said that her men killed one of the robbers but the corpse was taken away by the robbery gang.

The police boss said that in and out of the state had been locked down with a view to preventing the robbers from getting out of the state.

The CP said the police in connection with other security agencies in the state were working assiduously to arrest the robbers, assuring that more details would be provided on the matter.
