Popular Gospel/Juju musician, Yinka Ayefele, MON marked his presence at the annual Notting Hill Carnival in London last week, when he used a masquerade mascot to create awareness for his radio, Fresh FM.

Ayefele, who was accompanied to London by his Publicist and Director, Corporate Affairs and Promotions of Fresh FM, Mr. David Ajiboye, said the move was to be distinct and different among fun seekers at the carnival.
‘I just looked at what we can do differently that will make us attract fun seekers at the carnival and the idea of using a masquerade costume with the name of our station inscribed on it came to my mind.
It actually worked because a lot of people were coming to take pictures and make inquiry about the station. ‘We run a global station that can be listened to anywhere in the world that’s why you see us in London using the Notting Hill platform to spread the good news about the station’, said Ayefele.
It will be recalled that the Federal Government approved the license of Fresh FM on April 30, 2015 with a transmitting frequency of 105.9MHz, after the singer submitted a bid for the license seven years ago.
