Anthony Chiejina takes a seat at the zenith of command in the competitive communication industry, where skills are highly required. Despite his silent and reserved personality, he remains one among few, most highly respected senior managers in the corporate communications field.
Although, not many can lay claim to have enough knowledge or data on the man who silently sits at top the shadow of his junior staff. Meanwhile he's their enigma for many reasons and the junior staffs are always complementing him. In the past few years; Tony has relentlessly been focus-driven strategic, and has contributed to the growth of communication brand of the upscale Dangote Group and his profile is speaking volumes and impeccability, but this does not make him hang any airs around himself. He goes about pushing his job the way he deems fit, and leaves the rest for others to judge.
Before he was appointed as the Group Head, Corporate Communications for the Dangote Group; Anthony Chiejina was the former Assistant General Manager/Head Corporate Affairs for defunct Oceanic Bank, his adventure into corporate life began with Seven Up (7Up) Bottling Company as Personnel Manager/Editorial Adviser and later moved up to Zenith Bank Plc where he served as Head, Corporate Communications. Tony, being an experienced journalist with strong academic bias; graduated from the University of Lagos with a B.Sc degree in Mass Communication served as Associate Editor, Deputy Editor and Acting Editor of African Economic Digest, London and African Concord, Lagos and he has since bagged various other academic degrees including an M.Sc, Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, University of Lagos.
To boot he has a Master's degree from University of Lancaster, specializing in Organisational Analysis & Behaviour, and M.A. Development Studies, Institute of Social Studies (ISS), The Hague, Netherlands. Tony Chiejina is one to be recommended for future offices in the communication world.
