LAHA 2027: “I ‘m ready to carry the cross of quality leadership with more development in Agege —Abiola

Mr Gbenga Abiola, the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for Lagos State House of Assembly (LAHA) Agege 01 has said that he would carry the cross of quality leadership in his legislative duty with development opportunities for constituents.

The Newsmen reports that Abiola gave the disclosure on Saturday while meeting with party stalwarts, chieftains and Campaign Zonal Coordinators.

According to him, his legislative duty will focus more on empowerment opportunities for all and development for Agege, residents.

Abiola popularly known as ‘Agbelebu’ said his focus would include quality representation, grassroots development and expanded opportunities for residents.

The APC candidate for Agege 01 said that he would prioritise more on youths and women development with quality representation at the legislative chamber.

“Our focus will be on quality representation, capacity building, grassroots development, youth and women empowerment, accessibility and create opportunities for all.

“Every great journey begins with faith, and as we kick off our campaign, we gather in prayer, placing our ambition, our purpose, and the people of Agege Constituency 01 in the hands of God.

“This is more than a political journey. It is a call to service, a commitment to the people, and a vision for a better Agege local government.

“Across faiths, we stand united, seeking wisdom to lead, strength to serve, and grace to remain true to our purpose.

“When God is at the beginning, we trust Him with the journey and the victory.

“With faith in our hearts and the people in our purpose, we move forward,” Abiola said.

Newsmen reports that Abiola will be replacing the Speaker LAHA Dr Mudashiru Obasa, who is now contesting for Federal House of Representative seat at the National Assembly.
