Actress Habibat Jinad has revealed how God led her to call and pray with colleague Temitope Osoba days before her death.

The Nation reported that news of Osoba’s death emerged on Wednesday and as of press time, the cause of her death remains unknown.

In a tribute posted on Instagram, Jinad said she spoke with Osoba on the phone for about 8 minutes, following what she described as a divine prompting.

“I called you recently because God led me to pray for you, Tope Osoba, and we prayed over the phone for about 8 minutes. I still can’t believe this. Who am I to question God’s will? May God forgive your sins and grant your soul eternal rest,” she wrote.

Jinad said she was grateful she obeyed the prompting to reach out before Osoba died.

“I am grateful I obeyed God’s leading and did what He asked me to do for you before you left this world,” she added.

She used the moment to urge the public to be intentional about checking on loved ones.

“This is a reminder to all of us: please always check on one another. You never truly know what someone is going through or when it may be your last chance to reach out.

“Rest in perfect peace, Temitope Osoba. My eyes are filled with tears again”, she added.

Osoba’s death is the latest loss to hit the Nigerian movie industry this year, sparking fresh conversations about health, wellness, and mental support among entertainers.
