Ajeromi Ifelodun Chairman holds Fiesta to Celebrate Easter, assures residents of Renewed Hope at Grassroots levels
Hon. Olalekan Olu Akindipe, the Executive Chairman Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government in Lagos State has hold Easter Fiesta and assured residents of Renewed Hope at community levels.
Akindipe said while given his remarks at the Easter Fiesta on Good Friday at the Council Secretariat that Easter was more than a celebration.
According to him, the period is a powerful reminder that light will always overcome darkness, that hope will always rise above despair and that after every season of sacrifice comes a new dawn of joy and renewal.
“This message of hope, renewal and new beginnings speaks directly to who we are as a people and what we are building together in Ajeromi.
“And it is no coincidence that today as we celebrate this powerful season, we are also gathered for the Ajeromi Ifelodun LG Easter fiesta,the Themed: “Renewed Hope and Community Unity”.
“This moment perfectly captures the spirit of Easter bringing our people together not just to celebrate but to strengthen the bond that makes us one community with a shared destiny,” he said.
The local government chairman said that his administration remained committed to translating this hope into real progress.
Akindipe said that development from infrastructure to youth empowerment, from women development to community driven initiatives as he steadily building a local government that works for everyone.
“These achievements are not just projects they are proof that when we stand united there’s nothing we cannot accomplish.
“The fiesta is more than an event, it is a celebration of our unity, our resilience and our collective belief in a brighter future.
“It’s a reminder that beyond politics, beyond differences, we are one people moving forward together.
The chairman however urged the residents to carry the message of Easter in their hearts and continue to support one another to believe in the community and to keep the flame of hope alive.
“Together we will build a stronger, more prosperous Ajeromi Ifelodun community,” he added.
Chief Rabiu Oluwa, an Apex Leader, All Progressive Congress (APC) Lagos West Senatorial District while given his remarks hailed the council chairman for his remarkable progress and development since the beginning of his administration.
Oluwa urged the residents to give full support to the government at all levels to ensure the renewed Hope comes to reality the community.
We are appealing to you to support the council chairman and the APC party at large to ensure dividends of democracy spread to the community.
We also advise that you revalidate your Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to allow you to participate actively during the general elections comes 2027.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda will carry everybody along with development and infrastructure and we assure residents that the government will not disappoint you,” the party leader said.
