Big Brother Naija Season 11 Head of House, Chimsom Chuka, has stirred reactions by asking fellow housemates to observe a prayer before the commencement of a house meeting on Sunday.

The pharmacist and actor from Anambra, who became the first Head of House of the season, made the request while addressing the housemates during one of the meetings.

In a now-viral video, Chimsom called the housemates together before saying, “One person should pray for us… quickly,” before adding, “It is my meeting; I decide what happens,” after some murmurs from the gathering.

The moment has since generated mixed reactions among viewers, with some describing the move as inappropriate for a reality television show, while others defended him, arguing that praying before meetings is common in many Nigerian settings.

Since emerging as Head of House, Chimsom has adopted a strict leadership style, enforcing punctuality, calling regular meetings, addressing hygiene and kitchen issues, and warning housemates that he could report them to Big Brother for disciplinary action if they failed to comply with house rules.
