When she ceremoniously got married to the Ooni of Ife, HIM Oba Enitan Ogunwusi few years back, against all odds, her pedigree, and relevance on the social radar shot up astronomically. But no sooner than her celebrated marriage to the Ojaja II crashed like a pack of badly arranged cards, she suddenly went into her cocoon and since then and of late, little or nothing has been heard about her.

Erstwhile Olori Zainab Wuraola (nee Otiti,) is now no longer the talk-in-town, as even her whereabout at the moment cannot even be deciphered. We hear from the grapevine that this may not be unconnected with the lean purse she now grapples with.

Those who know her very well vouched that, given her wannabe lifestyle she is not one that can live out of the social radar, especially when she has the cash and wherewithal to live a larger than life being.

The indication now is that she is now flat broke and can no longer afford that luxurious lifestyle which she was used to shortly after she became the wife of Ooni of Ife.

Her 17-months crashed marriage to Ooni of Ife was allegedly riddled with promiscuity, lavishness, man-snatching and the likes, as her way of life, which she veils with her now-non functioning NGO; #1in3Africa, but all that have given way to her present alleged impoverishment, which she can no longer maintain, because she cannot sustain them again, as she has become a shadow of her old self, on account of her imminent penury and lack.

The hitherto Olori Wuraola is a feminist and what you just can’t take away from her is her uncommon frankness, particularly on issues that are dear to her heart. But this woman has definitely abandoned her good mission for the development of humanity, just as her much anticipated campaign – #1in3Africa, an advocacy campaign to call to action and spread awareness to end domestic violence and sexual abuse against women across the continent.

The call to action campaign which was endorsed by the Emir of Kano years back, amongst many entertaining leading lights like Tonto Dikeh, Toke Makinwa, Mercy Aigbe, Kate Henshaw, Ini Edo, Monalisa Chinda, Uche Jombo, Funke Akindele and others could now not be said to be a flourishing organization that it set out to portend the public.

While she reigned majestically as the Olori of Ooni of Ife, with the immediate environment and continent through her foundation, she was opportune to dine and wine with United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Economy, His Excellency Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, to formalize the beginning of international relations with the UAE Economic sector to improve economic and cultural relations between the United Arab Emirates and several African nations.

Meanwhile this relationship under the patronage of her erstwhile Queen Zainab was like an African Arab organization that will promote and improve cultural and international relations between Arab countries in the Middle East and Africa, which she actually achieved then.

Former Olori Wuraola, a trained architect, is now probably in a comatose state of cash drought and needs help as she is unable to make the promises she made to beneficiaries of NGO come to fruition. But who will come to her rescue is now the question to answer and the incontrovertible issue is that ex-Olori Zainab is broke. Ipso facto.
