Late Babatunde Tella a.k.a Ashiri practices his politics from Ikorodu West local council development where he was well known during his lifetime. He was appointed Special Operation:Committee on landed property of Lagos state by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu during his first term as governor of Lagos State.
The two days befitting burial activities was organised for the departed soul, which included the prayers handled by The light of truth Aladura shepherd by Rev.mother Dr. E. G. Dawodu, while the church service was conducted by Rev. Olukorede Dawodu at the residence of the deceased where prayers were offered for the reposed of the departed soul on Thursday 23rd Nov.2023 at the wake keep while lying in state was done on Friday 24th Nov.2023 at the same venue.
Late Babatunde Tella was interned at The Heaven's foecourt Cemetery, imota,Ikorodu, Lagos state.

According to the Chairman of late Babatunde Tella planning Committee, Hon. Sesan Dada described the departed soul as 'a rare gem,' but his death was so devastated, and we will miss him"

Late Babatunde Tella was survived by wife,Children,Brothers and Sisters.
