100Days in Office: Traders In Oshodi Commends Council Boss, Oloyede Over laudable projects within LGA

Group of traders dealing in electrical materials, lightning and fittings at the popular Brown Street in Oshodi, under the aegis of Brown Street Traders Association (BSTA) has commended the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, for the infrastructural development projects he is carrying out in the local government.

The traders also announced their membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The traders stated that Oloyede's giant stride has necessitated their resolve to join the ruling APC.

The traders led by their chairman, Mr Chigbo Ike disclosed this when they paid a 'congratulatory and well done' visit to the local government chairman on Friday.

In the words of the Chairman "we are here to congratulate the chairman, Otunba Oloyede, for his emergence as the council boss. Secondly, to also appreciate his wonderful performance, so that he will be encouraged to do more. We are happy that we have a chairman who embarks on projects for the benefit of the people. Our roads across the local government are wearing new looks and now motorable. On behalf of the entire members of Brown street traders association, we say thank you to the chairman for the good works. His good works have made us decide to be part of his party, the All Progressives Congress."

The traders equally presented a giant size portrait of the council helmsman.

In his response, Otunba Oloyede, appreciated them for the honour and promised he will continue to deliver on his campaign promises.

He said the commendations received from the group and others have remain a driving force for him to do more as he said, he will never renege on his promises to better improve infrastructure and welfare of the people in the local government.
