In the spirit of love and giving, Nigeria’s sensational hip-hop songster, Kogi state-born Jaywon, has identified with the less-privileged kids in his home state, Kogi.
Last week, during the Valentine season, Jaywon was in his element as a cheerful giver, when he visited Cornerstone Orphanage in Lokoja to distribute sundry items to the inmates of the orphanage home. The items included food stuffs like rice, beans, beverages, clothing and substantial cash gifts, which all delighted the management of the orphanage home and the very elated kids, who were all happy to be in the company of Jaywon. The multi-talented musician, real name Iledare Olajuwonlo, has been in the generous art of giving to the needy for years now, and does not show any sign of relenting in years to come, will not stop at amazing and entertaining his fans, since he moved fully into music with his titillating and tantalizing singles like Oba Orin, Mandantin, Tanawole,Kule Lori, You & Me, Gbadun, Fire for Fire, just to mention a few, all of which sold out in the market. Jaywon, the Egbe, Kogi State-born dude and artiste of international status, is the MD/CEO of Next World Music, after a stint with Kennis Music. Jaywon has also done a handful of collabos with the likes of Sound Sultan, 2Face, Phyno, Olamide, May D, just to mention a few; and has also share same stage with the likes of super stars like Don Jazzy, Reminisce, D’Banj, Dr. Sid, Davido and many more. Juwon has an HND in Accounting from the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, and calls his genre of music Afro Pop, which he has been singing to the delight of his fans and carting home many awards. His philanthropic side is now being taken to a higher level, going by what he gave to the inmates of Cornerstone Orphanage Home in Lokoja, Kogi State.
