The famous Canadian rapper has announced a new streaming event, and if you want to have fun, gamble a little, and win prizes you better tune in to Drake’s official Kick channel. Drizzy will be online on Saturday, August 8, at 8:00 p.m. ET. This livestream is just the latest move in the well recorded cooperation between Drake and Stake.
Drake and stake.com have a unique relationship. It is not just another sponsorship deal between a company and a celebrity. Their bond goes quite deeper. First, Drake was just another player at Stake. Yet, with his appetites for gambling he quickly rose through the ranks of the company’s VIP program. These rewards are all real ones as the 6 God stated who all of the winners were, and they were called out by name, and have received their gifts. The best part about Drake’s livestream is the fact that you get a chance to share the screen with the famous rapper, and even for a bit taste the freshens of celebrity waters. Let’s not forget that when a Chicago fire fighter and a father of three got a car as a reward, upon seeing his situation, Drake lifted his reward by another $25,000. So far, Drake has not responded to this provocation, but knowing him it is only a matter of time before he reignites the old flames. After all, since releasing Not Like Us, everyone deems Kendrick as the winner of this feud, which is not something Drizzy would allow to stand for too long.
While the public is once again talking about the feud between the 6ix God and Kendrick Lamar, and the fact that Drizzy lost a couple of millions on the back of Drake’s curse, the Canadian rapper doesn’t appear to be too shaken. For him, Christmas has come early, as he is in a giving mood, and we’re not only talking about the Kick/Stake, Drake livestream giveaway. The ICEMAN creator has made a prelude for this live event, by holding his annual Strong Women, Stronger Drinks event.

When he’s off the music you can see him following his Toronto Raptors, or some other sports teams as Drake was at the World Cup watching his home nation play. She used to do an event called What Women Want. It was essentially women gathering to network, to socialize and to be a man at the event, you had to work. I always loved that aspect of it. We would show up and work the event because that’s what the event was about.”
Based on his experience from almost two decades ago, Drake imagined this event as a memento to all the women who are already doing the hard work and just need a little push to excel even more in their respective fields. The idea is simple: have the women talk among themselves, receive gifts, uplift each other, learn, and have a good evening before moving onward with their endeavours. He concluded by saying: “We’ll do some giveaways and hopefully change some lives and then we’ll go inside and get drunk and do what we’re supposed to do.”
As far as rewards go, they went from $50,000 and $100,000 cash prizes, to delivering ladies with G-Wagons and BMWs. That should be more than enough reason to be next to Drizzy when he streams on Kick on Saturday, August 8th.
