Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources Holds Debut Meeting, Sets Agenda for a Cleaner and Greener Lagos

The Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, wasted no time in putting his plans into action as he held his first management meeting today, setting the agenda for a Cleaner and Greener Lagos.

With the aim of familiarizing himself with the various agencies under his ministry, Mr. Wahab met with the Directors, Permanent Secretaries, and heads of different agencies. This meeting was crucial in gaining a comprehensive understanding of their operations and identifying areas that require immediate attention.

During the meeting, Mr. Wahab outlined the administration's vision for a Cleaner and Greener Lagos, aligning it with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's THEMES + agenda. The Governor's focus on the environment as a core component of his agenda highlighted the importance of sustainable development and the role it plays in improving the lives of Lagosians.

Emphasizing the collective responsibility of all stakeholders, Mr. Wahab called for significant contributions from everyone towards achieving an environment that evokes pride among Lagosians and visitors alike.
