BREAKING: Points deduction, relegation loom as Man City falls guilty of 114 charges

Manchester City have been found guilty of all but one of their 115 charges as it relates to the Premier League’s financial regulations, the Daily Mail reports.

The Etihad club was accused of failing to report accurate financial information for nine seasons stretching from 2009-10 to 2017-18.

An independent panel hearing had been concluded in 2024.

Since then, there has been a lengthy wait for a verdict, amid speculation that the club had been informed already

A verdict could lead to punishments which include huge points deductions, financial penalties, and even relegation.

It is understood that points deductions could even be applied onto previous seasons, which would see City stripped of a few Premier League titles.

City are expected to appeal whatever punishment is handed to them.
