Back To School: Agbelebu appeals to students, pupils to embrace good values, determine to succeed

As schools across Lagos State resume for the new academic session, Hon. Gbenga Abiola, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Party Candidate to Represent Agege Constituency 01 in the next general elections in Lagos State has advised students and pupils to embrace good values and have determination to succeed in their academic endeavors.
Abiola popularly known as ‘Agbelebu’ said in a statement on Monday urging students to embrace good values and remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence.
He added that education remains the surest path to personal and national development, advising students to stay focused on their studies and avoid distractions that could derail their future ambitions.
“Resumption is not just about returning to classrooms; it is about renewing our commitment to discipline, determination, and good moral values.
“The future belongs to those who combine sound education with integrity and hard work.I encourage our students to set clear goals and remain resilient despite challenges,” he said.
The APC LAHA party candidate also encouraged parents and students to re-establish daily routines, ensure all school supplies are ready, and communicate regularly with teachers for consistent academic progress.
He further advised families to create a distraction-free space for homework and study, and to set clear boundaries on screen time and social activities to help children maintain focus.
Agbelebu commended teachers and parents for their dedication to the growth of children in Agege community, assuring them of effective representation when elected into the legislative office.
According to him, his representation will create an enabling environment for students to strive through infrastructural improvements and youth empowerment programmes.
“We also charge the teachers and parents to work collectively in fostering a culture of diligence, respect, and patriotism in the new schoolyear,” he said.
