The President of Dangote Refinery, Aliko Dangote, has said that 200 countries participated in its recently concluded Initial Public Offering, IPO, at N525 per share.

He disclosed this in an interview at the WIMBIZ Annual Conference.

Dangote noted that of the 200 countries that participated, 54 were African countries. According to him, all the African countries were represented.

He said the refinery decided to make the IPO accessible to the public, hence the decision to peg the offer price at N525 per share.

“Two hundred countries participated in the IPO, out of which 54 African countries participated. In fact, all African countries participated,” he said in the viral interview.

DAILY POST reports that Dangote Refinery’s IPO, dubbed the People’s IPO, closed on October 27, 2026.

The IPO targeted raising N2.15 trillion through the offer of 4.1 billion ordinary shares at N525 per share.
