Family confirms death of Gospel singer, Toluwanisings

The family of Nigerian fast risen gospel singer, Olayemi Bolaji, with stage name, Toluwanisings, has confirmed his death following swinging rumours over his passing.

The family, made an emotional announcement on the singer’s TikTok account on Wednesday, expressing sorrow over his departure and informed that his funeral arrangements would be passed soon.

The musician was said to have died in the early hours of Wednesday as the statement reads. It added,“With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing of Minister Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, Toluwani Gospel Music Ministry (TOGOMM), who passed away in the early hours of 14 October 2026.

While remarking the deceased as a dearly loved husband, family member, and gospel minister, the family urged the public to keep his wife, family, and loved ones in prayers during this difficult time.

The singer’s death has sparked concerns, with fans and colleagues expressing grief on social media.

News emerged stating that Toluwanisings slumped at his residence and was taken to hospital for attention. He was said to have fallen down the stairs of his house in Ibadan, Oyo State, after complaining of tiredness.

The musician was also said to have performed in the area on Tuesday night at one of his colleagues’ programmes, In His Presence, a popular monthly gospel worship and praise event hosted by Nigerian gospel singer and praise leader Bidemi Olaoba.
