Agege 01: I’m contesting to have positive impact in Agege—Agbelebu

APC Candidate for Agege Constituency 01, Hon. Oluwagbenga Abiola Omaco has disclosed that he is contesting to solely to have positive impact in Agege community.

Agbelebu attributed the meaning of leadership to power of impacting into the lives of people.

He said, “The office may carry a title, but the people give it meaning. Leadership is not defined by the position one occupies, the privileges that come with it or the authority it provides. It is defined by the lives touched, the voices heard and the problems addressed.

“A true representative understands that the mandate belongs to the people. Their needs must shape the priorities, their voices must influence the decisions and their welfare must remain the ultimate measure of every action.

“Because at the heart of representation is a simple responsibility: to serve the people, stand with them and ensure that their trust is transformed into meaningful impact.

“The office is temporary. The people remain. And when the people are placed at the centre of leadership, representation becomes more than a title. It becomes a responsibility, a commitment and a lasting legacy.”

“My representation will be focusing on Purposeful and Leadership Experience, Quality Representation, Capacity & Capability, Grassroots Development, Youth & Women Empowerment, Accessibility and Opportunity for all.

With growing endorsements from residents across Agege Local Government, the campaign continues to gain attention ahead of the 2027 Lagos State House of Assembly election,” he said

Agbelebu also expressed his commitment to representing the people of the constituency with humility, purposeful leadership and a strong focus on grassroots development.

The APC candidate said that according to the campaign theme, his legislative agenda would seek to strengthen the connection between Agege residents and the Lagos State Government through effective representation and purposeful legislation.
