Celebrity Gossip Veekee James calls her husband her personal handbag amid public outings

Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has defended her habit of going out with her husband, Femi Atere. She responded to a social media user who questioned why he is always by her side at events.

Veekee shared her thoughts in a video on her Snapchat on Sunday. The troll suggested that her husband did not have “a life of his own” because he is often seen with her.

In response, Veekee explained that marriage is about sharing life together. She said she and her husband have built their lives around one another.

“Yes, my husband does not have a life of his own. His life is my life, the same way I don’t have a life of my own.

“My life is his life. He is me and I am him. Together we are like padlock and key,” she said.

Veekee argued that those who criticize their relationship do not understand what marriage is really about.

“When you marry your own, separate him. When you marry your own, remove him from your life and keep him somewhere else.

“You don’t know what marriage is. His life is mine, my life is his. Everything he is, is mine,” she said.

She insisted that marriage means partners share every part of their lives, not live separately.

Veekee added that she and her husband will keep attending events together, no matter the criticism they face.

“You’ve not seen anything. You will see me and my husband anywhere possible, everywhere possible, you will see us,” she said.

She ended the video on a funny note, calling her husband her “personal handbag” while showing clips of the couple together.
