Banwo Law, a United States-based legal practice founded by renowned immigration attorney Dr. Ope Banwo, has expanded its operations with the opening of a new office in Arlington, Texas, as part of plans to broaden access to legal services across the country.
The new office marks a significant milestone for the firm, which has operated from Omaha, Nebraska, for nearly three decades, providing legal representation and guidance to individuals, families and businesses facing complex legal matters.
According to the firm, the Texas office is the first step in a wider national expansion strategy aimed at bringing quality legal services closer to communities across major U.S. cities.
Speaking on the development, Banwo said the vision behind the firm has remained unchanged since he restarted his legal career in the United States in 1997.
“When I restarted my legal career in America in 1997, my mission was simple: help ordinary people navigate extraordinary legal challenges,” he said.
He explained that the launch of the Arlington office reflects the firm’s commitment to serving more clients while expanding its impact within immigrant communities.
“Today marks the beginning of a new chapter. This new office is more than an expansion—it is an opportunity to serve more families, protect more dreams, and impact more lives,” Banwo added.
For its first year of operation in Texas, Banwo Law will focus exclusively on immigration law, offering services in family-based immigration, asylum applications, deportation defence, employment-based immigration, green card processing, citizenship and naturalisation, as well as humanitarian relief matters.
The firm said its mission is to help immigrants successfully navigate the complexities of the U.S. immigration system and pursue lawful pathways toward achieving their goals in America.
“Our mission remains to help immigrants achieve the American dream without the nightmares,” Banwo stated.
As part of activities marking the launch of the Texas office, the firm will also host the “Immigrant Survival Marathon,” a 30-day educational initiative featuring free immigration guidance, legal updates and interactive question-and-answer sessions through “The Immigrant Survival Show”.
Banwo expressed appreciation to clients, referral partners and supporters who have contributed to the firm’s growth over the years, noting that Nebraska served as the foundation upon which Banwo Law was built.
Located at 420 E. Lamar Boulevard in Arlington, the new office is expected to serve immigration clients from across the United States as the firm begins the next phase of its national expansion programme.
